The start date has been changed to Saturday, September 28 to better take advantage of the weekend. The weather is expected to be dry and cool.
Let's observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by riding to the site of the St. Joseph's Mission Residential School in Williams Lake, where the Orange Shirt Day movement originated.
The route is out and back from Horseshoe Bay. Suggested overnight stays are in Clinton (on the route at 338 km and 665 km), or in Cache Creek (adding an 18 km detour per night). DriveBC shows notices for single lane alternating traffic at Lillooet, Clinton, and 100 Mile House.
