Details for the Summer 600 for the lower mainland are finally getting sorted out. The route will be very similar to what was offered in 2014: a loop from Coquitlam to Hope, Princeton, a staffed overnight control with a bag-drop service in Merritt, and then back to Coquitlam for the finish.
This time the overnight control will be at the Ranchland Villa Motel. I'll have a room with a kitchen for the control, and I've have asked them to hold another six rooms for us until August 18th; if you want one of these rooms you will have to call the motel, mention my name, and then make the rest of the arrangements for yourself. The number is 1-250-378-2140. There lots of other old motels within 1km of the control. The newer (more expensive) places are further away and up the hill.
Access is from Runnel Drive which runs parallel to Barnet. I recommend parking on Runnel Drive rather than in the parking lot, which states that overnight parking is not allowed. I have only changed the route a little bit at the end and a little bit in Merritt.
