- Conditions: Smoke was BAD! It did keep the temperature reasonable, and wind was only a problem for a short stretch coming back through Kamloops, where a MAJOR, HOT headwind pushed the temp from 17 degrees to 27, with falling ash looking like a snowstorm in the headlight beam. Half an hour later it was back to 17.
