Don’t let the look of the course deceive you!  This 300 km brevet flows smoothly and quickly.  It is not a flat route, but the there are many long level stretches between the hills.  Route design considered the quite early Saturday and Sunday mornings on the Pat Bay Highway.  This year there are two diversions to the usual route considering the construction of the Keating overpass and public works construction on other Central Saanich roadways.

CRD water fountains are not in operation yet. Please plan accordingly.  There are plenty of opportunities for water and nutrition enroute.   

The start location is in Sidney at the Tim Hortons. All day parking is available in the free public parking lot south of the Mary Winspear Centre. There is also parking on Resthaven Dr. on both sides of the road, one block north of the shopping centre.    The shopping centre parking lot has restricted parking hours.  Please don’t park there.
