July 4 2021: It is currently quite smoky in the interior. Please check Environment Canada for air quality and Drive BC for possible road closures due to fires. I have not ridden the gravel portion (6 km) of Chase-Shuswap Rd. recently, so it may be rough, or it may be good. There are the usual sinkholes on the shoulder of Hwy 97A. Please be careful.

NOTE: the route sheet and RWGPS have not been changed from last year, when there was a jog put into the route in Vernon to go avoid a section of  construction on 39th Avenue.  I am assuming they are finished by now, so simply stay on 39th Avenue all the way from Pleasant Valley Rd. to Alexis Park Drive.
