- Conditions: Unlike the blistering, energy sucking heat (yeah, I bonked badly in the last 35 km) that the pre rider experienced, the event day riders had cool temps, mostly cloudy with some sunny breaks and occasional showers- sometimes heavy showers. One moose was seen by the organizers, and most riders saw at least one bear.

The classic. No traffic, beautiful scenery, no traffic lights.
