Conditions: +1C and slightly overcast to start, clearing in the afternoon with a high of +13C. Occasional headwinds, but we finished in warm sunshine with a good tailwind. Good start to the season.

Scenic, not too hilly. We will be riding through areas devasatated by the 2023 wildfires, but there are still plenty of available services. There are bad potholes on the shoulder of Highway 1 between Little River and Squilax (both directions- about 3 km each way).
