“Anything worth doing is worth overdoing…”
Cascade is back after a 4 year hiatus! Join Seattle Randonneurs for the first 1400K ever to be held in the United States. Experience the vast and varied landscapes of Washington State as you pedal the route from Puget Sound, around the Olympic Peninsula, over several iconic mountain passes, along vast river valleys and through North Cascades National Park before your return to the Seattle area.
The Cascade 1400 will feature a group-oriented style of riding. We will share common overnight stops each night and start more or less together each morning. This riding style will encourage a collegial 1400km experience and will allow riders of different speeds to enjoy each other’s company for more of the ride than might otherwise occur. The daily stages will take advantage of the long summer solstice days to provide lots of daylight riding.
