Hi Riders, I will greet you on 0 Ave at about 271km, right after you pass the Aldergrove border crossing, with some food and water. I will text you via the phone number you provided during registration.

August 6 Update

Pre-ride Report from Mike Gottlieb

Dave and I rode the route on 31st July. The weather cooperated and there were no issues with the route as is. On Friday, the Mission segment of Lougheed was a bit busy with truck traffic. We expect that this will not be a problem on the weekend. Additionally, take care in the Langley loop in Walnut Grove as traffic may be heavy depending on the time of day you're travelling through that area. Be attentive for drivers turning through the bike lane without checking.

Note! that there may be a closure in Langley on 216 Street between 24 and 18 Ave. If this is the case on Saturday, please take 224 street from 16 to 28 Ave.

Second Note! There was some smoke near Hope, but otherwise the air quality was good for the pre-ride.

July 27 Update

We are re-running the Sunshine Less 400 from last year. Pre-ride is still schedule for July 31.

July 24 Update

Wildfire near Pemberton makes this route unlikely. Recommondation for any alternative is welcome!

July 7 Update

[This will be the 2nd ride of the year heading north on the Sea to Sky Highway. We will explore the quiet Squamish and Pemberton Valleys.]
