Mostly a repeat of last year, but with the start in Sidney. Also, a chance to revisit God's Acre, the Veterans Cemetery behind the Esquimalt Naval Base Hospital. This church and grounds are nestled into Gorge Vale Golf Course and provide a beautiful spot for quiet contemplation.
The pre-ride has been completed. Roads are in generally good shape for this time of year. Watch for debris from the wind storm we had earlier this week. There is a lot of roadwork going on right now. It was particularily noticed in Sidney and in Oak Bay.
