Abbey Road 2025

Very similar route to last running with a slight diversion onto the Burnaby Lake path to maximise gravel enjoyment and avoid continuing construction on Government/Winston in Burnaby. 

Pre-Ride Notes:

There is a bit of construction near the end of the route. Notably there is a detour under the Alex Fraser Bridge, Continue past the fence to the bike path detour (before the pub parking lot). After the Alex Fraser Bridge there is contruction on the bike path past Clivedon Ave. There is loose gravel and at the time of the pre-ride plywood temporarily over the path. Exercise caution and consider dismounting for this section. After the Burnaby Lake trail there is contruction at Burnaby Lake Recreation Centre. To continue on Sperling to the Central Valley Greenway follow detour signs thru parking lot to continue north.

Start at Mc Donald's at Boundary & Lougheed Hwy (pour one out for the Ye Olde Knight and Day)

Finish at Steamworks Brewery at William St, Burnaby (maybe request a Trappist ale?)
